The Eject Emergency Helmet Removal System developed by Shock Doctor was designed to aid in the safer removal of a helmet after a head and neck injury. By using an air bladder located inside the top of the helmet, a CO2 cartridge is then used to inflate the bladder thus pushing the helmet off the head safely, avoiding any further trauma or serious debilitating or permanent injury to the patients’ cervical spine.
